Another Delightful Addition to Contemporary Cooking Food Machines
Weber Genesis S-330 takes grilling to the next level. Among its improved features is the ability to maximize the heat without affecting the grilling space. As with all Weber grills, the S-330 is very easy to assemble if you stick with its detailed instructions. It is extremely sturdy as a grill should be owing to its welded frames (unlike its riveted lower version rivals) and is designed to withstand the elements even when kept outdoors. It is also the ideal top-of-the-line gas grill with a 10-year warranty on almost all its parts.
Weber S-330 Gas Grill, crafted in stainless steel, from the outer casing right down to the 7 mm steel grilling bars, heats up fast, is remarkably gas-efficient, and leaves wonderful sear marks on grilled food. It can completely control the amount of heat being put out and shuts off burners for indirect cooking.
The reliable, high-powered 10,000 BTU internal booster Sear Station Heater allows you to increase the heat and grill to perfection. Its front-mounted control panel makes it convenient. It comes with 3 stainless steel tubular burners capable of 38,000 BTU per hour input and have individual electronic ignition that allows grilling with the use of direct or indirect heat. A flush mounted side burner (12,000 BTU) makes way for the customer to multi-task while grilling.
It boasts of 507 sq. in. of primary grilling space for a total cooking area of 637 sq. in. and a handy warming rack that’s a welcome addition to your total grilling space. It features a push button electric (AA-battery) ignition, a dual layer hood with double vaporization system that efficiently retains heat, an enclosed cart with painted steel doors that discreetly conceals your LP tank, an accurate and easy-to-read thermometer mounted on the center of the lid for easy monitoring of the grill’s internal temperature and a precision gauge that lets you check if you got enough propane. All improvements come in the 190-lb. package.
What makes the Weber Genesis S-330 differ from the E-330?
Weber’s Genesis family top-of-the-line S-330 and the E-330 models will both cook up anything you like with two stainless steel work stations that provide plenty of space for food preparation and first-class engineering that Weber has been known for. They each have individual electronic ignition that makes grilling on the three stainless steel burners a real pleasure. The flush-mounted side burner and 10,000 BTU-per-hour Sear Station allow you to cook good quality steak right in your own backyard. Both come with front-mounted control panel, painted steel frame, porcelain-enameled heat deflectors, six tool hooks owner’s guide with recipes and limited warranties.
The major difference between the two versions is:
Weber Genesis E-330’s cast-iron cooking grates, shroud (with center-mounted thermometer) and flavorizer bars are all porcelain-enameled while the Weber Genesis S-330 has a 7 mm-diameter rod cooking grates, flavorizer bars and shroud (with center-mounted thermometer) that are stainless steel enameled.
With proper maintenance, however, there is no significant difference between stainless and porcelain-enamel except the knowledge that the latter might flake off over time.
Genesis grills use both stainless steel and porcelain-enamel materials which are rust-resistant, can hold up well in harsh water, are durable and come with good heat-conducting properties that make them ideal for outdoor grills whether you cook for a single person, a small family or a large crowd.
Although one might be tempted to think it is a bit too pricey for a gas grill, Weber Co. makes sure you get what you pay for. Weber grills typically last for 10-20 years with possible no need for replacement of some parts for at least 5 years. You can’t go wrong with a Weber product.
